We LOVE SCBC! Best staff and team of any GPR resort in which we have ever stayed! The whole TEAM from the GM, Sean Herriott, to the front desk crew, Nicole and Josh, to the housekeeping/Andrew and others in the maintenance department are SO WARM, WELCOMING, FRIENDLY, AND THOUGHTFUL of EVERY LITTLE THING! Everyone we talked to loves how clean and well-maintained the entire property is and how responsive all the staff members are! EVERYONE WE TALKED TO LOVES the NO TOUCH FILTERED WATER MACHINE! 5 STARS! For SURE!

Right on the beach. The Strand is a 1 way street to cruise the beach which is right in front of the Southern California Beach Club. The rooms are nice with full kitchens and all cooking & eat utensils. The staff is super friendly. This place has bikes and other equipment you can borrow. The downsides are there is no a/c in the rooms It can get quite warm, especially if you get an inside room. The parking in the garage can be challenging if you have a bigger vehicle but they have a limited number of street parking permits if necessary. Other than those 2 things, the area is walkable with pier and beach access, restaurants and events nearby.

Our one bedroom unit was sanitized and clean. The furniture is comfortable and is newer. Our unit was oceanfront, feet from the beach. The soothing sound of the waves 24/7. The common areas include many Gas Barbecues, shower area before returning to the building, under building secured code required parking, and a to die for view when using the spa. The entire staff is dedicated to meeting your needs with a smile.

The location is wonderful and situated right off the beach. Easy to walk in the sand or stroll the pedestrian walk ways. Beach chairs, umbrellas and even bikes were provided at no extra charge! The employees were all so friendly and helpful. We never even got back in the car once we arrived! We walked everywhere as there were so many restaurants in the vicinity.

I absolutely loved this location, very beautiful view. Met the neighbor next door, she let me kids pet her dog. I loved the upstairs and downstairs. It gave my family and I enough room. My kids enjoyed the space and being able to go separate ways if needed. I would highly suggest staying here and we will definitely be back!
