Want a week at the beach where you can overlook the ocean while you eat on your private balcony? How about walking down a short flight of stairs and only crossing a 1-way street to get to the beach? How about a place that has beach chairs, towels, boogie boards and umbrellas free of charge? You found it, it's the Southern CA Beach Club!! Driving to the beach? I feel sorry for ya!

Great hotel, great service, great location. The only downside is that there is not AC in the rooms. Fine during cool weather but I'd imagine not great for hotter seasons. It's located right on the beach, with easy access. The hotel is older but it's well maintained and the rooms are very comfortable. We stayed in a one bedroom with a kitchenette and pullout bed in the living room. Parking is also very tight in the parking garage, we have a van and don't think we would have actually been able to get in and out had we parked in the spot they assigned us, but they have parking permits for the meters in front of the hotel. There aren't many but it's a better option for larger vehicles.

We just finished another great stay at Southern California Beach Club. The location cannot be beat. The resort is clean and well maintained. Exceptionally pleasant and helpful staff, we just love it!

The southern california beach club resort located on the beach in the center of oceanside is fantastic. Beautiful white water views from your room. Walking distance to wonderful dining and shopping. The resort has very good underground parking and excellent security. The city and beaches of Oceanside are very well run with no homeless problems. The beaches have the best bathroom facilities. There are many tables and benches both covered and uncovered. There are several outdoor showers and barbeque pits. There is a lovely little grass covered park next to the resort. The rents are very reasonable and the resort has time shares resales that can be purchased at very reasonable prices. My wife and I have several weeks there and we just love it. Try it you will love it too!!!
